Small But Mighty

Designed to be a reliable performer, the 60 EFI FormulaRace utilizes a 1.0-liter, four-cylinder Mercury 60 FourStroke powerhead with a 15-inch midsection and a Mercury Racing cowl. In competition the 60 EFI FormulaRace powers compact tunnel hull catamaran race boats to a top speed of 75 mph. Formula-4S is intended to be an entry class for professional tunnel boat competition, and this reliable and rugged racing outboard lets racers focus on honing their skills rather than on maintaining the engine. The result is exciting and close racing action.

Low-Emissions Powerhead

Four-stroke 995cc powerhead has a Three Star rating and produces significantly lower exhaust emissions the two-stroke competition engines it has replaced.
