Complementing the innovative, tech-forward nature of Mercury Racing products, the truck’s experiential displays are powered by a Fathom ePower system, a state-of-the-art lithium-ion power management system designed to provide sustainability and effortless control over power scalability and consumption. The Fathom system allows the truck to operate independently without shore power for up to 20 hours of continuous operation without relying on noisy, distracting generators.

With years of experience running events and showcasing cutting-edge gear, Tad knows what it takes to make an impactful impression. Joined by sales and product experts from Mercury Racing and local dealers, Tad and the truck logged more than 15,000 miles in 2024 traveling to 13 events and engaged with more than 360,000 Mercury Racing fans. We caught up with Tad to get his perspective on what the experience offers visitors.

Tad: “Definitely the interactive engine displays. Visitors love seeing the hardware inside our engines up close and how it’s all packaged to deliver world-class performance. It’s a technological marvel. You can see their eyes light up when they put the VR headset on and suddenly they’re flying across the water. That’s when it all clicks.
“The Tour Truck allows us to bring the Mercury Racing brand to life in an exciting and memorable way that sets us apart from other brands,” Tad said. “Visitors leave the experience with a totally new perspective on high-performance boating.”
