Mercury Racing and Roadster Shop have teamed up to display two of their Mercury Racing SB4 project cars at Road America this weekend. Dr. William Fox’s 1966 Chevelle and Barry Blomquist’s 1965 Pontiac 2 + 2 Catalina will be on display at Road America’s Concours d’Elegance street parade Saturday, July 20. The event is part of Road America’s Weathertech International Challenge with Brian Redman presented by Hawk (Vintage Cars) event.

The Weathertech International Challenge is one of the largest vintage racing events in the United States and features over 400 cars competing in several groups.
Designed, developed and manufactured in-house, the Mercury Racing 32-Valve DOHC SB4 7.0 engine adapts our proven high-performance valve train to a customized LS-based cylinder block that produces a staggering 750 naturally aspirated horsepower. Mercury Racing’s advanced four-valve cylinder head combustion system and dual overhead camshaft valve train provide significantly improved performance and durability compared to a standard two-valve design.

Viewing of the sports cars will be available 6pm-9pm Saturday, July 20. Entrance to the Concours area in Elkhart Lake is free to all spectators.
